Just a day...

I can actually say that there isn't anything exciting going on right now. My weekend was spent with me getting over a horrific migraine, but for right now, it is a normal, boring, summer day. We are heading to Grandma's house today for our usual "Grandma duty" and that is about it. It is the way it is supposed to be. Now, if we can only get the job hunt thing going better then all would be perfect. :)

Rob and I are still submitting resumes, but neither of us have heard anything back yet from anybody. It can get frustrating, but we aren't giving up. We have decided to use this time off to our advantage and take a short trip to Texas to go visit Rob's family. Once the kids start school it will be hard for us to go, plus it will be hard for Rob or me to take off from work once we start a new job, so we have decided to go now. We have a few appointments coming up in the next week or so, and then we will go.

Ethan has an appointment to see the pulmonologist coming up next week, and then I also have to see about setting up the kids' 504 plans for the new school year. I also have to find out from our pediatrician why the appointment was never made for us to see the allergist like we were supposed to see. That kind of got lost in the mix because of Emily's surgeries and the other stuff going on, but now we have that to deal with, too. So, somewhere in all of this, we will take a trip to Texas, continue our daily job hunts, and also continue with my daily care of Grandma. Awwwww...summer vacation!!! :)
